Nancy’s Terrible Twos Moment

I know it’s been a tough week. The Senate refused to allow itself to be bullied into helping you to smear the President further. Adam Schiff revealed himself to be the goofball moron many already knew him to be. President Trump’s numbers continue to improve in the face of unrelenting criticism from Democrats and their partisan hack allies in the media. And then your parties showcase event for the week, the Iowa Caucus, has deteriorated into chaos and disarray. But pointedly tearing up your copy of the State of the Union Address was the act of a child and a poorly behaved child at that.

Nancy was not alone in her unprofessional and puerile behavior. There was, of course, the spectacle of all those ladies wearing white so that they could draw attention to themselves. This sea of white is the same silly tactic they used in the last SOTU. Narcissism aside, the Democrats might want to reconsider the optics of all these white-clad buffoons refusing to applaud for a scholarship granted to a young African-American girl simply because it was Trump who gave it. It was petty, infantile, and absurd, but it did reveal that Democrats are far more concerned with genuflecting before the Teachers Union than in doing anything to help the poor trapped in failing schools.

In the end, the Democrats continue to distance themselves from the very people they need to vote for them. No one expects the opposition applaud everything the President says, but the outright disrespect, not just for the office of the Presiden but on their own as well, is not lost on the American people. Some boycotted the speech, some walked out, and some just chose to be juvenile and myopic.
