This is what we’ve come to. If you’re dead you can’t vote should not be something that needs to be codified. But then common sense seems to be in shorter than usual supply these days.

In the wake of the 2020 presidential election, republican Congressman Brian Babin (TX-26) introduced a bill last week that would require states to cross-reference their voter registration and social security recipient lists to ensure that only living citizens are voting.  And he’s dead serious.
