Sure, they tolerate little guys like me with miniscule followings, at least for the time being. Right now they are concentrating on the big threats like Trump’s Twitter feed and and Parler’s challenge to the liberal stranglehold on social media. But as more and more of the “little guys” jump in to fill the void left by the banning and de-platforming of the current big guys it will not be long before the focus changes and they start coming after us. For example, Clout.com and gab.com but both are growing exponentially as freedom lovers migrate from closed and blocked sites. If they become too successful their cyber landlords will begin looking for reasons to evict them.
It’s not like they are trying to hide their intentions. Jack Dorsey is on video promising his commissars that the banning of Trump is only the begging and a more systematic and though political cleansing will take place over the coming weeks and months. AOC and some of her Democratic colleagues are seriously talking about establishing a government commission to address “media literacy.” This from one of the most ignorant people ever to darken the halls of Congress. Where all those supposed guardians of the First amendment-ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, NY TIMES, WAHINGTON POST, and all those other blowhards who should be at the forefront of any politician’s or plutocrat’s attempt to take away anyone’s right to free speech? WAKE UP!
