Depending on where you live there might be some justification for keeping the schools closed. But white supremacy and white privilege? Maybe you should look at the rich white liberals insisting that public schools with children of color remain closed while their own kids are in class in private institutions before you go sticking that label on the people who want the schools opened.

The leader of a teachers union in Washington state is facing criticism after he said that reopening efforts are fueled by “white supremacy” and concerns over lockdown suicides were “white privilege.” Scott Wilson, the president of the Pasco Association of Educators, made the comments during a Jan. 12 school board meeting, according to the Tri-City Herald.
