What has happened to us? When did we become such a bunch of lily-livered, weak-kneed, groveling, whimpering bunch of wimps? I mean, you don’t even have to write anything conservative you just have to express a positive opinion of anything the woke Nazis don’t approve of and the long knives come out. It’s not surprising nor even particularly concerning that they behave this way. After all, when your own position is indefensible they only thing left is trying to destroy anyone with a different position while unintentionally revealing just how intellectually bankrupt you are. What is far more alarming is that people like Winston Marshal respond to this type of assault born of impotent rage by scurrying to the nearest corner, bleating their contrition at having offended the self appointed thought police and promising to make amends.
When did it become a crime to have an unpopular opinion? The answer is, of course, that it never has. We are supposed to walk on egg shells, taking care not to slay or even insult the sacred cows of progressivism and I can’t figure out for the life of me why this is. Who decreed it? Who assented to it? If the answer to both questions is no one with the authority to do either than why do we tolerate it? It is time to tell these arbiters if propaganda to take a flying leap at the moon, preferably over a very deep ravine.
“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”
This is the law of the land, not the whining protestations of some perpetually offended, overly sensitive, and utterly intolerant snowflakes. When we make a statement, support a cause, or endorse a candidate the black clad cowards find offensive we need to stand by it and face them down. The only reason they have been able to dictate the narrative is because there are so many Winston Marshals out there. Many thousands of men and women died for the rights we enjoy in this country today. Allowing anyone-ANYONE-to take away any of those rights for any reason is like spitting on their graves. Folding up like a cheap camera when we exercise them because our popularity, our social status, or even our livelihood might be affected belittles the sacrifices made by so many over the last two hundred forty-odd years. Wake up! Stand up! Speak up!
