The COVID Belief Bill

The bill that congress in it’s drunken sailor approach to spending just passed last week is a bald faced lie to the American people. That the bill was named a COVID relief bill is staggering in its audacity considering that there is still a trillion dollars still unspent from the last boondoggle bill and that less than ten per cent of this bill has even the remotest connection to COVID relief is a textbook application of the rule that no good crises should go to waste. For the most part, we have docilely allowed this mortgaging of our grandchildren’s future to occur in the belief that the government is only trying to help. They bought our belief with a check for 1400 dollars.
