Apparently one of their “strong priorities” is the suppression of speech they don’t agree with. “Misalignment” is any non-conformist exercise of that pesky First Amendment. You would think people had freedom of speech or something. Resistance is Futile. You will be assimilated.

Patagonia’s decision centered on “our really strong commitment to using both our business and our brand to advocate for our strong priorities,” said Corley Kenna, head of communications and policy at Patagonia. “When there’s a misalignment on that, then we take action.”
