From the article:
“We are seemingly all right with a teenager’s right to take an AR-15 to an area where there is civil unrest. That’s really scary and concerning,” Kerr said to reporters on November 19, according to a report by Reuters. Kerr continued, declaring that the verdict “poses great risk going forward if we continue to go down this path of open carry, and states determining that people, even underage people, can have weapons of war. This is America, and we’re treading down a dangerous path.”
Warrior’s Head Coach Steve Kerr Says Kyle Rittenhouse’s Acquittal is Putting America on a Dangerous Path – Big League Politics
Here’s the thing, Coach. The NBA does billions of dollars in business with a country that jails and kills political and religious dissidents, keeps a minority group in concentration camps, and uses slave labor to produce the sneakers your players run in. Your silence on those issues negates and moral high ground you think you have to criticize the American system of justice.
But then if you prefer to live in a society where prosecution is the result of political pressure rather than facts, exculpatary evidence is suppressed or simply ignored, and justice is meted out at the behest of a power mad head of state, then maybe you should just move to China. There are those who would like to push us in that direction but there were two verdicts with wildly different results this week that prove that despite our inperfections we are not there yet.
