Justin Trudeau and his minions are becoming even more totalitarian by the day, intent on forcing their will upon the Canadian citizens. I am sure that Canadians consider themselves to be a free people, and they do have “The Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms”, but I wonder how many of those freedoms are being guarded by the current ruling government?
According to Wikipedia,
. . . some Charter rights are subject to the notwithstanding clause (section 33). The notwithstanding clause authorizes governments to temporarily override the rights and freedoms in sections 2 and 7 through 15 for up to five years, subject to renewal. The Canadian federal government has never invoked it, and some have speculated that its use would be politically costly.
