A Small Victory. But We’ll Take It

This was easy because De Blasio is such an unlikable turd. The real danger to our freedoms come from people like his royal highness, King Cuomo, because so many people erroneously see him as some kind of great leader.

De Blasio: New Yorkers can report social distancing violations by texting photos to authorities | Fox News

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio told New Yorkers Saturday that they can snap smartphone photos of social distancing violations and text them to authorities and “enforcement will come” as the coronavirus shutdown remains in place across the Big Apple. “Now it is easier than ever,” he said in a video posted to his official Twitter account. “When you see a crowd, when you see a line that’s not distanced, when you see a supermarket that’s too crowded — anything — you can report it right away so we can get help there to fix the problem.” New York City is the nation’s largest COVID-19 hotspot, with more than 131,000 confirmed cases and more than 13,000 deaths as of Saturday afternoon. That’s more than the entire state of New Jersey, which sits second to New York state in confirmed cases with more than 81,000. There have been more than 716,000 confirmed coronavirus cases in the U.S. and at least 37,659 deaths. De Blasio announced at the end of March that people violating them could face fines of up to $500. The mayor opened Saturday’s video by praising city residents for largely adhering to the guidelines and for being “extraordinary at social distancing,” noting that people are normally used to bustling crowds throughout the five boroughs. “Thank you everyone who’s done it the right way, but we still know there’s some people who need to get the message,” he said in the video. “And that means, sometimes, making sure the enforcement is there to educate people.”

Trump unveils coronavirus guidelines for rolling back social distancing in phases: ‘Next front in our war’ | Fox News

This is what a leader does while Joe Biden does one liners from his basement, Nancy Pelosi shows off her refrigerator that is larger than some people’s apartments, and Chuck Shumer stares at himself in front of his webcam wondering why no one else is listening to him.

President Trump announced on Thursday the White House’s plan for eventually rolling back social distancing measures and reopening the country’s economy in several phases — depending on location — amid the coronavirus pandemic. The plan calls for three phases to reopening the country, based on the severity of the coronavirus outbreak in each individual state or region. “We can begin the next front in our war, which we are calling ‘Opening Up America Again,'” Trump said during a press briefing at the White House. “To preserve the health of Americans, we must preserve the health of our economy.” The plan, which Trump announced along with the formation of a bipartisan council of lawmakers from both chambers of Congress, outlines “recommendations” for governors to develop their own plans to reopen. It also includes a number of criteria that must be met in terms of numbers of infections and hospitalizations before they can open up.

MORE EVIDENCE: Deadbeat Dad Hunter Biden Is Still Listed as Member of Chinese Firm’s Board of Directors

I think the President should stop calling Joe Biden Sleepy Joe. It’s obvious that his real handle all along should have been Sleazy Joe. What a Family.

In October Joe Biden’s multi-millionaire son Hunter Biden reportedly stepped down from his Chinese-backed private equity firm that had $1.5 billion from Chinese. At least, that’s what his lawyers said. Advertisement – story continues below Hunter’s lawyer George Mesires, Biden said he’ll resign at the end of the month from the management company of a private equity fund that’s backed by Chinese state-owned entities. Hunter made the 1.5 billion dollar deal during a trip to China with his father on Air Force II. This comes after President Trump brought attention to the Biden Crime Family scandals.

Democrat Lawyer Behind ‘Russia Dossier’ Pressures Nevada to Allow ‘Ballot Harvesting’

One thing not on lock-down is the Progressive assault on the democratic process and rule of law.

A lawyer whose firm hired Fusion GPS to produce opposition research on Donald Trump leading to the phony “Russia dossier” has written to the State of Nevada pressuring it to bow to Democrat demands to allow “ballot harvesting.” Mark Elias, a Perkins Coie lawyer who once represented Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign, wrote on behalf of the Nevada Democratic Party to Nevada Secretary of State Barbara Cegavske on April 10 demanding that the state refrain from prosecuting violations of current state law, which only allows “a member of the voter’s family” to return an absentee ballot on their behalf. It is a felony for someone other than a family member to submit a ballot on someone else’s behalf. Across the state line, in California, Democrats allow “ballot harvesting,” in which party operatives may collect and submit as many ballots as they want. (The practice is almost exclusive to Democrats; Republicans do not easily part with their ballots.) As Breitbart News has explained: “Ballot harvesting” was legalized in California in 2016, and first used in the 2018 midterm elections. It allows anyone to drop off someone else’s mail-in ballot at a polling station. There is no process for vetting or verifying those delivering the ballots — no background checks or identification requirements. Democrats dropped hundreds of thousands of ballots off at polling stations in 2018, helping Democrats as they flipped seven Republican seats. The practice is illegal in Nevada and most other states — as well as most other countries, where the practice is associated with fraud and corruption. Democrats, however, want to make “ballot harvesting” the law nationwide — and wanted to do so long before the coronavirus pandemic.

Trump says ‘scariest day of my life’ was being told US was short on ventilators | Fox News

Hopefully we have learned our lesson and will no longer put ourselves at the mercy of our enemies for medical supplies, equipment, and medication.

President Trump on Tuesday called it the “scariest day” of his life when he had learned the United States might not have enough ventilators to fight the novel coronavirus. “The scariest day of my life was about a month ago, when after a long day of meetings my team told me that we were going to be needing 130,000 ventilators — that we were short hundreds of thousands of ventilators,” he said during the daily White House press briefing. The president went on to blame the Obama administration for lack of oversight in the past, and he accused sitting governors of putting unrealistic demands on the federal government. “This is the system we inherited,” Trump continued. “I had governors requesting unreasonable sums that the federal government just didn’t have and, you look at the states… The states were not prepared. I knew that every person who needed a ventilator, and didn’t get one, would die.”

The Coronavirus Is Exposing Little Tyrants All Over The Country

Our Constitution is being shredded before our very eyes. This is turning out to be a global act of terrorism and we are willingly going in to the fear and allowing state and local governments to trample our civil liberties almost without protest.

There’s nothing like a crisis to bring clarity. The response of some mayors and governors to the coronavirus pandemic in recent days has made it clear they think they have unlimited and arbitrary power over their fellow citizens, that they can order them to do or not do just about anything under the guise of protecting public health. We’ve now witnessed local and state governments issue decrees about what people can and cannot buy in stores, arrest parents playing with their children in public parks, yank people off public buses at random, remove basketball rims along with private property, ticket churchgoers, and in one case try—and fail—to chase down a lone runner on an empty beach. All of this, we’re told, is for our own good. Some Authorities Are Targeting Christians The most egregious example of this outpouring of authoritarianism was an attempt by Louisville, Kentucky, Mayor Greg Fischer to ban drive-in church services on Easter. On Holy Thursday, one day before Christians were to begin their most important religious celebrations of the year, Fischer declared that drive-in Easter services would be illegal. To remove all doubt about his seriousness, he also threatened arrest and criminal penalties for anyone who dared violate his order, and in an Orwellian twist, invited people to snitch on their fellow citizens. Fischer justified this by saying it was “to save lives.” Thankfully, a federal judge made short work of the mayor’s idiotic power-grab, issuing a temporary restraining order against the city of Louisville on Saturday, writing so as to remove all doubt, “The Mayor’s decision is stunning. And it is, ‘beyond all reason,’ unconstitutional.”
