While the world is distracted by COVID-19 Red China continues to demonstrate what they are really about.

Hong Kong police fired tear gas and a water cannon as thousands took to the streets Sunday — as controversial new security laws from China aimed at crushing the protests sparked the most intense clashes in months. Crowds of pro-democracy demonstrators dressed in black gathered in a popular shopping district, chanting slogans such as “Stand with Hong Kong,” “Liberate Hong Kong” and “Revolution of our times.” The protest did not receive official authorization — and broke local coronavirus social-distancing restrictions, which ban groups of more than eight people meeting. Police raised blue flags, warning protesters to disperse, before firing multiple rounds of tear gas — then firing from a water cannon.

In October Joe Biden’s multi-millionaire son Hunter Biden reportedly stepped down from his Chinese-backed private equity firm that had $1.5 billion from Chinese. At least, that’s what his lawyers said. Hunter made the 1.5 billion dollar deal during a trip to China with his father on Air Force II. This comes after President Trump brought attention to the Biden Crime Family scandals.

I was watching CBS this morning and low and behold there was one of Red China’s useful idiots trying to pass off the Wuhan Chinese Virus as a European Virus. He was citing some vague and unverifiable data that COVID-19 was actually transmitted to the US population from European countries. Then he added as an afterthought, “although its roots were in China.” Cut the crap. The virus originated in Wuhan, Chin and actions intentionally taken by the Chinese government insured that it would spread throughout China and into the rest of the world.

“Special Report” anchor and executive editor Bret Baier told “Bill Hemmer Reports” Thursday that China appears to be increasing its public relations efforts in a bid to blunt the fury of the international response to its handling of the coronavirus pandemic. “There’s a real effort by China to step up its PR game, its propaganda game, around the world and to send aid not only to the U.S., [and] to Europe,” Baier said, “but to be the benevolent player in the coronavirus scandal because it really is a scandal in the early days [in terms] of what those numbers were coming out of China.” Baier also noted that Japan, Beijing’s third-largest trading partner, recently instituted a $2 billion fund for companies that take production out of China and either back to Japan or to another nation.

An essay Ren shared with friends in recent weeks took aim at a speech Xi made on Feb. 23. Ren told friends that he “saw not an emperor standing there exhibiting his ‘new clothes,’ but a clown stripped naked who insisted he continue being emperor,” according to the China Digital Times, a U.S.-based website.

Yeah, I’m angry too. I’m mad that China intentionally allowed this to get so out of control that it is now a global pandemic. I’m mad at the idiot globalists who created the perfect storm for something like this with moronic open border policies that were kept in place when they knew the virus was already spreading in China. That’s why its called the Spanish Flu or Rocky Mountain spotted fever. So be angry. When this is over, we need to begin loosening China’s ever-tightening grip on crucial sectors of our economy, security, and economic health. We can start by offering irresistible incentives for businesses to start moving their production facilities out of China. By even hinting at what is mentioned in this story, China has shown itself as unworthy of further investment in its economy as long as their Communist dictatorship remains in power.

The disturbing threats made during a global pandemic as well as the scary consequences if that threat becomes real highlight just how tight China’s grip is on the global supply chain. Already, the Food and Drug Administration has announced the first drug shortage related to the coronavirus. Though it did not disclose which drug was in short supply, the FDA did say it could not access enough raw components needed because they are made in China. That doesn’t come as a surprise to Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla, who told Fox News on Thursday that America is “dangerously reliant” on China for the production of critical goods, including parts for technologies needed to fight COVID-19. Though the United States is a global leader in drug discovery, much of the manufacturing has moved overseas. The last American manufacturing plant to make a key component in penicillin shuttered in 2004. Since then, Chinese pharmaceuticals companies have taken over, supplying between 80 percent and 90 percent of U.S. antibiotics, 70 percent of acetaminophen and about 40 percent of heparin, according to Yanzhong Huang, a senior fellow for global health at the Council on Foreign Relations.

It’s All Trump’s Fault!

The spread of the coronavirus in Europe and Asia is undoubtedly a cause for concern. But the abject panic by investors in the Stock Market seems a bit extreme. There will be some supply chain disruptions, but the reaction to this has been more like a response to bubonic plague rather than severe flu that is causing a higher death rate in countries with poor hygienic practices and substandard medical infrastructure. Yes, every action should be taken to stem the spread of the disease and treat those affected. But this is not a Steven King Novel, and the nations of the world are not going to become vast wastelands populated by a handful of survivors.

Of course, someone has to be blamed for this. And the Democrats have chosen to blame-hold on to your hat-Donald J. Trump. They haven’t figured out a way to quite pin the blame on him for originating the virus, but they are quick to jump on every action he takes in response to it. You would think…well, never mind. This is the same party that is probably going to nominate a Socialist to be their candidate for POTUS. Their entire party is in panic and disarray, and they are projecting that onto the Administration.

The spread of coronavirus into the general population in the US may or may not be inevitable. But one thing we can be positive of is that the desperate Democrats will seize on and politicize yet another crisis to bolster their flagging chances at winning the White House and the genuine possibility that they will lose the House of Representatives. But that’s what you get from a party who sees their role as to rule over people rather than govern them. The difference between those two terms is stark but lost on the Democrats.
